Rachael Patterson: director of Acting Studio Chicago, has been teaching audition technique for film, industrials and commercials for sixteen years. Formerly a partner in Brody/Patterson Casting, she cast numerous films, television pilots and commercials. Rachael trained at The American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco. She is also a private coach, and teaches film workshops at various universities, and teaches commercial directors how to effectively work with actors.

Kurt Naebig: has worked professionally in theatre, film, television and radio for more than 20 years and has been teaching and coaching actors since 1992. A Juilliard graduate, he has also studied at the Moscow School of the Arts in Russia. Kurt is a member of Buffalo Theatre Ensemble and has worked as an actor at Portland Stage, Milwaukee's Pabst Theatre, National Jewish Theater, Steppenwolf Theatre and Chicago Shakespeare Theatre. He also appeared in such films as The Express, Witless Protection, Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer, The Relic, Dillinger, Howard Beach: Making the Case for Murder, and has been in multiple episodes of ER and Prison Break. This year at Buffalo Theatre, Kurt will be acting in The Woman In Black and directing The Melville Boys. He will also direct Keely and Du for Infamous Commonwealth Theatre. Jack Bronis: (AEA, AFTRA, SAG) was a founding member of The Noble Fool Theater Company. He has also worked with Zeitgeist Theater, The Improv Institute, The Free Associates, and Steppenwolf. Jack conceived and co-wrote the long- running interactive hit Flanagan's Wake and has directed the Chicago, Minneapolis, and Rochester, New York productions. Other recent directing credits include Brain Humor, The Science of Love, and Corporation, Inc. He also directed Rick Almada's one-man show The Paradox Of Insanity, I Mean, Humanity! for Live Bait Theater and the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland. He wrote book and lyrics for the award-winning Vikings! A Musical in Two Axe. Jack is a staff instructor for The Second City Training Center. Linda Gillum:is a member of AEA, SAG, AFTRA and AGMA. She is an Artistic Associate and Casting Director with Remy Bumppo Theatre Company and was the Media Relations Manager and member of Defiant Theatre in Chicago which ended 11 glorious years in Chicago. She has performed with A Red Orchid, Court, Defiant, Lyric Opera, Mercury, Northlight, Remy Bumppo, Roadworks, ShawChicago and Steppenwolf Theaters and has directed for Defiant, Next, Noble Fool, Famous Door, Chicago Dramatists,Timber Lake Playhouse and St. Croix Festival Theaters. She received her MFA in acting from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. She taught there as well as UIC and Interlochen Summer Arts Academy and previously worked for the casting director at New Line Cinema in L.A. Norm Woodel:has voiced The Unexplained on A&E and is one of Chicago's top voice talents. He studied Marketing and Advertising at Rutgers University and his teaching is effectively rooted in sharing his professional strength, hope and real world experience. Norm has conducted successful workshops for Acting Studio Chicagoas well as The American Federation of Radio and Television Artists. He played Big Daddy in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Edward in Someone Who'll Watch Over Me and last performed in The Rivals with Buffalo Theatre Ensemble. Norm has an Emmy Award, Associated Press and UPI Awards for Journalism, an Advertising Federation Award, a job next week, and a passion for human potential.

Jeff Lupetin: has been a popular voiceover artist for over 20 years. Recently he has been the national voice of Harris Bank, Off Bug Spray, Oldsmobile, and locally for the Illinois Lottery Fun for Some campaign. Currently, he is the web voice of Cadillac. Locally, you can hear him on TV and radio for the Chicago Blackhawks hockey, Town and Country homes, Car X and Northwestern Mutual. He was awarded the Fairfax Cone award for his work on Coors Extra Gold beer. Jeff is best known for his character work as well. He is currently one of the infamous Raid bugs, and has created original characters for McDonalds including the training voice of Mel for McDonalds interactive. In addition he is heard on a variety of games and slot and pinball machines across the country. Jeff has been a spoken word artist, writing and performing comedic audio stories and routines. His CD, 13 Houses from Sing Sing is available on his web site. He is currently finishing his book, Ultimate Voiceover sharing his thoughts and methods learned over his long career. It will be available through his classes at the Audition Studio. Jeff hails from Ossining, NY and graduated from Northwestern University with a TV-Film degree. Jane Brody, C.S.A.: ormer director of the Audition Centre and Jane Brody Casting, has been working for the past 35 years as an actress, producer, director, agent, instructor and casting director. She has performed at The Guthrie Theatre in Minneapolis, Drury Lane in Chicago, Los Angeles Actors' Theatre and the Merle Oberon Theatre where she received the Los Angeles Weekly's Best Actress Award. While in Los Angeles she served as an Assistant to Michael Shurtleff and as a private coach. Jane tours nationwide as a guest artist in auditioning technique and received the CSA's award for Best Location Casting for her work on the film Fargo. Jane currently heads the Acting Program at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.f

Greg Vinkler: has appeared in over twenty productions with Chicago Shakespeare Theatre. He received Jeff Awards for his work in Hamlet, Twelfth Night and for the title role in King Lear. He adapted and directed Julius Caesar for Chicago Shakespeare's education program. Greg has also appeared at Goodman, Court, Victory Gardens and Northlight. Regional credits include Pittsburgh Public Theatre, Milwaukee Chamber Theatre and Michigan's BoarsHead Theatre. European credits include Vienna's English Theatre and International Theatre. Deb Doetzer: has been working in voiceover, theater and improv for almost two decades. A proud member of all three performer's unions (AEA, AFTRA and SAG), her voice has been heard for such national accounts as Blockbuster Video, State Farm, McDonald's, Nestle's Toll House, Kraft Mac and Cheese, Ford and Red Lobster, among numerous others. Deb is currently the voice for Emmi, an interactive medical website, and can be heard on various PlayStation, Gamecube and XBox games as well as a few slot machines in various casinos across the country. Deb is currently an ensemble member of Rivendell Theatre Ensemble where she was last seen in the critically acclaimed performance of The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole Aged 13 3/4. Deb has performed in Shear Madness with both the Chicago and Boston companies and has also worked at The Annoyance Theater, Eclipse Theater and Improv Olympic. Deb has performed original sketch and improv comedy in NYC, Boston, Chicago and at Los Angeles' famed The Comedy Store, and many small towns in between. An instructor at the Audition Studio since 2000, Deb has taught Beginning Voice-over, Intermediate as well as recently facilitating the Work-out with the Pro's Advanced Workshop and is available for private coaching.

Jane Alderman: has been casting theatre, feature films and television for 25 years with well over 56 films, 70 television shows and 36 plays to her credit. British-born and New York raised, she has made Chicago her home for many years. Prior to casting, Ms. Alderman was an actress her most notable performance with John Malkovich and Glenne Headly in the Goodman Theatre’s groundbreaking production of Sam Shepard’s Curse of the Starving Class. She still finds joy in acting in the Chicago area, most notably of late: Funny Girl at Marriott, Vagina Monologues at the Apollo, and the feature film The Break Up playing Vince Vaughn’s Mom. Some of her casting credits include the national tour of Evita; the films Rudy, Nothing in Common, Backdraft, and The Straight Story; for television: Normal, EZ Streets, and the series The Untouchables, Turks, Early Edition, ER, and What About Joan starring Joan Cusack. Jane taught at Depaul’s Theatre School for 20 years and produced the Jeff Award-winning ensemble The Dogs in Xenogenesis and Dogtown. The winner of Casting Society of America’s Artios Award for Excellence in casting for EZ Streets and Normal, she has also been nominated for Turks and ER. She is a member of SAG, AFTRA, Equity, NATAS and CSA. Jane still finds time to teach at Roosevelt U. and Northwestern. She is currently writing a short novel.

Erica Daniels: is the Casting Director at Steppenwolf Theatre Company. Before returning to Chicago where Erica worked as an agent for Geddes, Arlene Wilson and Shirley Hamilton she spent a year as the The Theatre Department Coordinator at William Morris in New York. Working under George Lane, she worked with such writers as John Patrick Shanley, Richard Greenberg, Warren Leight and Kenny Lonergan and directors such as Michael Mayer, Mark Brokaw, James Lapine and Daniel Sullivan. Erica began her career as a casting assistant at Jane Brody casting. She holds a degree in Performance Studies from Northwestern.

Jeff Rogers: performed in the National Touring Company and on all three stages of Second City in Chicago. He went on to direct a National Touring Company as well as becoming a Creative Director for Second City Communications, the corporate entertainment division of Second City. Performing, directing and writing shows for over five hundred companies, Jeff is currently a Creative Director for Detroit Second City Communications. He has appeared in dozens of national commercials and has extensive film and television credits.

Kirsten Fitzgerald: is a proud ensemble member of A Red Orchid Theatre. Elsewhere in Chicago, she has worked with Defiant Theatre (R.I.P.), Remy Bumppo, Plasticene, Steppenwolf, Shattered Globe, Prop Theatre, Circle Theatre, The Goodman, Famous Door, National Pastime, Aardvark, and many more. Kirsten’s work in The Sea Horse, at A Red Orchid, was recognized this year with a 2006 Jeff Award for Best Actress in a Principal Role. She has also been honored with an After Dark Award for Outstanding Performance in A Moon for the Misbegotten at Circle Theatre, and a Jeff Award nomination for Best Actress in as Supporting Role for Mr. Bundy at A Red Orchid. An MFA graduate of the University of Iowa and a BA graduate of the University of Kansas, Kirsten has worked with the Iowa Playwrights Festival, the Utah Shakespearean Festival, and was featured on a season premiere episode of ER. Kirsten also teaches acting at Columbia College an manages the Thresholds Theatre Arts Project, a project committed to showcasing the frequently misunderstood and rarely heard artistic voices of individuals living with mental illness’ and to reduce the negative stigma associated with mental illness by educating our communities. Currently Kirsten is performing at Next Theatre in the Chicago area premiere of Christopher Durang’s, Miss Witherspoon and in Leaving Iowa at The Royal George Theatre.

Bob Mason: has been casting director at Chicago Shakespeare Theater since September 2000, casting not only their mainstage Shakespeare but numerous musicals, including Gary Griffin's productions of A Little Night Music, Sunday in the Park with George, and Pacific Overtures (2002 Olivier Award, Outstanding Musical, in collaboration with the Donmar Warehouse.) Outside casting credits include Chicago casting for Stephen Sondheim's Bounce, directed by Harold Prince, for the Goodman and Kennedy Center, as well as Northlight Theatre's productions of The Good War and The Immigrant, and the long-running I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change at the Royal George Cabaret. In his fifteen year career as a Chicago actor, Bob appeared in numerous musicals, including A Little Night Music at the Goodman, Big River and Patent Leather Shoes at Marriott's Lincolnshire, and Sweeney Todd at Apple Tree Theater, for which he received a Jeff Award. Bob reprised the role of Tobias in numerous productions, opposite such Sweeneys as George Hearn and Timothy Nolen.

Kimberly Senior: Kimberly Senior is the founder and a company member of Collaboraction Theatre Company and an Artistic Associate with Strawdog Theatre Company and Next Theatre Company. For Collaboraction, Kimberly has directed CASANOVA, APOCALYPTIC BUTTERFLIES, and the Jeff award winning THE LIFE AND TIMES OF TULSA LOVECHILD, among others. Kimberly has also served as Producer for several Sketchbooks and productions. Doug McDade: Doug’s professional acting career spans 30 years and over 60 stage credits, as well as work in radio, television, film and commercials. He is an original ensemble member of Chicago’s critically acclaimed Shattered Globe Theatre Company and currently serves as President and Managing Artistic Director of The Gurnee Theatre Company, which he co-founded in 2001. Doug has been nominated for multiple Jeff Citations and Jeff awards and has received a "Jeff" for Supporting Actor in 1995 for his nationally recognized performance in the Chicago premier "The Manchurian Candidate". In 1996, he reprised his role co-starring with Kelsey Grammer for Los Angeles Theatres On the Air, which is now part of Chicago's Museum of Broadcast History. He has also been a member of several Jeff Citation awarded ensembles. He’s performed with many Chicago theatres including American Theatre Company, Bailiwick, Chicago Dramatists, Light Opera Works, Next Theatre, Shattered Globe, Stage Left, and Steppenwolf. Doug is an active member of American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA) and Screen Actors Guild (SAG). Doug's directing credits include stage works for Shattered Globe Theatre, Northside Story Productions, the touring company of Koch-Cohen Productions, Kalibre Productions and The Gurnee Theatre Company. He has also directed projects for video and television and is slated to direct his first independent film in the fall of 2007. He tutored privately with Sir Geoffrey Connor of The National Theatre of Great Britain and was trained at the London Shakespeare Academy. He has been teaching acting to children and adults since 1994. Doug stars in the role of Victor in Arthur Miller’s “The Price” for Chicago’s Shattered Globe Theatre Company, which opens January 14, 2006 at Victory Gardens.

Gail Rastorfer:is a part-time administrator for the Acting Studio. She has been acting in Chicago for over 12 years. As a member of the Actor’s Equity Association she has worked with Northlight Theatre, Goodman, Chicago Shakespeare, Theatre at the Center, First Folio Shakespeare Festival, Drury Lane Evergreen Park and The Chicago Theatre. Regionally she’s worked with Indiana Repertory Theatre, Madison Repertory Theatre, Hope Summer Theatre in Michigan and The Hangar Theatre in upstate New York. As a proud member of SAG and AFTRA you may have seen her on numerous T.V. commercials selling everything from vacuum cleaners to cars. Before Gail came to work for the Acting Studio she was a student here. She took her first class with director, Rachael Patterson over 8 years ago and has been hooked ever since. Mickie Paskal: A Graduate from Drake University with a degree in Theatre and attending the Eugene O'Neill National Theatre Institute, Mickie Paskal started with Tenner, Paskal & Rudnicke Casting in 1994. She has since worked on such films as FARGO, THE WEATHERMAN, ROAD TO PERDITION, ICE HARVEST, AMITYVILLE HORROR, WHAT WOMEN WANT, THE BREAKUP and STRANGER THAN FICTION. Most recently she completed casting Michael Keaton's directorial debut THE MERRY GENTLEMEN and THE EXPRESS starring Dennis Quaid. Over the last 15 years she has cast thousands of commercials.

Adam Belcuore: Adam Belcuore is an original founding member of Serendipity Theatre Company, and currently serves as Director of Artistic Development. In 2003 he was honored by receiving the first SDCF Mike Ockrent Fellowship, through which he assisted Harold Prince on Steven Sondheim and John Weidman's new musical Bounce. He had previously assisted Mr. Prince on Carol Burnett and Carrie Hamilton's Hollywood Arms. He also served as assistant director to Kate Whoriskey on the Goodman's production of Regina Taylor's Drowning Crow and to Ross Shirley on Serendipity's production of The Day Maggie Blew Off Her Head. He is the executive producer of Serendipity's 2nd Story; a series devoted to the art of wine, music and storytelling. Other directing credits include: Delores Dogan, by Courtney Shaughnessy; Go!, by Jonathan Jacobs and the world premiere of Alcatraz, by Al Letizia. As a casting director, Adam has worked with Lookingglass, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Northlight Theater, and more specifically The Goodman Theatre where he currently casts full time.

Matt Miller: Matthew Miller has served as Serendipity's casting director since May of 2000 casting all of their main season productions. As a director, Matt's credits include Serendipity's world premiere of Mr. Smarty-Pants at the Victory Gardens Studio, Jazz Genius: A Symposium and Tuning In El Paso (Festival Award Winner for Best Director) for CollaborAction Theatre Company's Sketchbook Festivals, and Romeo & Juliet for Trinity College. His acting credits include work with the Factory Theatre, The Hypocrites, and Barrel of Monkeys where he has been a proud company member since 1999. Dave Leffel: Dave Leffel, a 18-year industry veteran, joined BAM Studios in April 2005 in conjunction with the expansion of their studios and services. A native of Indianapolis and graduate from Millikin University in 1989 with a major in Voice and a minor in Electric Bass, Dave relocated to Chicago after being exposed to postproduction and the state-of-the-art technology that existed there. After a ten-year stint at Skyview Studios, Dave continued to work for some of the largest facilities in Chicago. Dave is also a voiceover talent listed with Innovative Artists and a member of SAG/AFTRA.

Claire Simon: A Casting Director since 1996, Claire Simon casts primarily film and television projects as well as theater and commercials. Her most recent projects include casting the first season of 20th Century Fox's Prison Break, in which she won the Artios Award for Outstanding Achievement for Dramatic Casting, "The Lakehouse" starring Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock, and the Pilot for ABCs "Enemies". Tasha Anne James: Tasha Anne James was recently in Suddenly Last Summer with Shattered Globe. She all appeared as Maria in Twelfth Night at The Noble Fool Theatre at Pheasant Run. Other credits include Io in Helen at The Next Theatre; Pope Joan/Louise in Top Girls, Susan in Holiday and Mrs Baines in Major Barbara all with Remy Bumppo. With The Artistic Home her credits include Trisha in Five Women Wearing the Same Dress and Anna Murrant in Street Scene. She has also worked with Northlight, Rivendell, Chicago Center for the Performing Arts and Theo Ubique. Before moving to Chicago she earned her BA in Theatre from UNLV and was a company actor and teacher extensively with the award winning Rainbow Company Youth Theatre.

Jennie Moreau: has worked on stage, film, and television in the New York and Chicago areas. Her stage appearances in Chicago include the world premiere of The Day on Which a Man Dies by Tennessee Williams, Cradle of Man at Victory Gardens Theatre, Wedding Band at Steppenwolf, and Fallout with Canamac Productions. Recently she played Amanda in The Food Chain at Mason Street Warehouse, Saugatuck,MI. In New York she performed at Second Stage, working with artists such as Lanford Wilson, The Rimers of Eldritch, and Lynda Barry, The Good Times are Killing Me. She received a Theatre World award for her performance in Lee Blessing’s Eleemosynary, at Manhattan Theatre Club, (with Eileen Heckart and Joanna Gleason). Other New York theatres she has worked at include Playwrights’ Horizons, Minetta Lane Theatre and Manhattan Punch Line. She was an original member of Artificial Intelligence, creating the role of Madeline Monroe, in Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding. Jennie has appeared in various soap operas, independent films, and many commercials.
